NEW 2011 SEASON SCHEDULE
BGYFL NIGHT
Apache Trail designates one home game per year to give recognition to the local community Black & Gold Youth Football League (BGYFL).
This year we chose our inter-city game this Friday Night 9/9/11 to make it a true community event! We want to invite Imagine participate and support the festivities. Please discuss this with Coach Tenpenny as he may need to adjust his arrival & pregame times, if necessary.
The details are explained below.
The main goal is to recognize the BGYFL teams at mid-field before the game and have BGYFL cheerleaders do the halftime performance.
1. We have invited all BGYFL players to wear their jersey and to stage with their teams just South of the South goal post between 6:15-6:30 pm.
2. At 6:30 pm we would like both Apache Trail and Imagine players to form a ”tunnel” of sorts (one team on either side) so the BGYFL players can run through and the high school players can “High-five” them as they head out to mid-field.
3. We expect each BGYFL team to pause for a team “break” or cheer at mid-field and then continue off the field out through the North end-zone goal post.
4. Again, the BGYFL cheerleaders will perform at halftime.
5. With the assistance and coordination of all coaches from BGYFL, Apache Trail and Imagine we plan to complete all pregame and half-time festivities without kicking off late or extending halftime.
6. *** BGYFL players in jerseys and cheerleaders in uniform will not be charged an entrance fee.

1st Game of the season: August 20th 2011… A game schedule will be posted on web site as soon as it is complete.

BGYFL Certification
On August 13 2011 starting at 8am according to the time your team is scheduled. This is for football players only. At this one-time certification the player will be photographed, weighed by vice presidents of all three leagues in the federation and interviewed by all three presidents in the federation. This is so the players age and weight can be verified and signed off on by all three leagues in our Pinal County Youth Football Federation also known as PCYFF. If your child is overweight for his or hers age group, this is the time his or her helmet will be greened striped so if your child is close to not making weight please bring helmet. You will be getting reminders of this from coaches as we get closer to certification. ** This certification is MANDATORY for football player to be able to play in games and you must bring certified birth certificate, a copy will not be excepted.**

New Season Practice
July 25th 2011 is the start of our 3 week five nights a week practice. Will be from 6pm -8pm located at north end of Prospector Park. The first night is helmet, shorts, t-shirt and cleats only. After the three weeks are over we will go down to two nights a week with possible walk through depending on coach. Predators will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. Miners and MudDogs will Practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Jr High will be making their own schedule. Please make sure your children are well hydrated and ready to go on time.

Registration Cost: $160.00
Price includes: Rental of helmet and shoulder pads also for game jersey and black integrated game pants that player will get to keep.
Need for football player registration: Payment cash or check, original birth certificate and player. Equipment will be checked out at time of registration. Physicals are highly recommended but not required.

CHEERLEADERS

We will have a jr high team again this year with only jr high cheerleaders
